WEBINAR: 6 Critical Components to a Successful Return to School

Updated: May 1

PART 1 of 2

Description: COVID-19 thrusted us all into a situation of fear, chaos, and overwhelming confusion. Schools were forced to adapt quickly, get creative, and ensure that students had continued access to learning. Some students have excelled without the stressors related to peer interaction and academic pressures, while many have not. As districts are being instructed to return students to campuses, we return to those feelings of fear and anxiety, and we navigate deciding what the best methods for returning are. School closures have provided us a rare opportunity in education, and that is the opportunity to evolve. Join us as we reimagine what education might look like and identify key components to consider for a successful return to in-person learning.

Learning Objectives:

  • Equip educators with critical skills for maintaining personal well-being.

  • Understand the behavior indicators for common trauma responses.

  • Identify and implement trauma-informed and restorative techniques for successful student return.
