Manya began her career in public education in 2004 after working in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Within education, she has experience as a Montessori elementary and middle school teacher, a special education teacher, and a decade as a bilingual school psychologist. Manya helped lead a multi-year MTSS project across multiple Arizona districts. She is particularly interested in engaging culturally and linguistically diverse populations in education. She has actively supported access to dual-language education for children of all abilities and backgrounds. Manya has extensive experience volunteering with refugee families from around the world, something she enjoys doing in her spare time.

Within CLS, Manya works with district and site teams to improve systems and processes, particularly in the realm of MTSS. She trains educators on equity practices and implicit bias, in addition to providing coaching on culture and climate in the educational setting. She would love to come work with your team.
