CLS supports districts and school sites with meeting the behavior, social-emotional and mental health needs of ALL students. Through individual consultation and technical assistance, CLS currently supports districts in the following areas:
Disproportionality/Cultural Responsiveness – Our CDE-certified technical assistance expert can assist district with the root cause analysis and development of a Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) plan. Dr. Jon Eyler has worked with many districts to mitigate instances of disproportionality. In fact, over 90% of our clients have dropped the “disproportionality” or “significant disproportionality” designation within two years of contracting with Collaborative Learning Solutions.
Behavior Program Development – Our consulting team works closely with districts to establish specialized programs to meet the social, emotional and behavioral needs of students requiring a Tier 3 level of intervention. The Collaborative Learning ProgramTM utilizes a social-cognitive approach which focuses primarily on the thinking underlying student behavior. Our behavioral consultants work with school districts to build or refine existing programs to better meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) – CLS employs a team of PBIS Coaches and Consultant who guide district and school site teams through the development and implementation of the PBIS framework. The CLS implementation model for PBIS includes a scope and sequence for district capacity, school site capacity and for data capacity. All PBIS implementation plans include a school site coaching component, professional develop, data solutions, and district coaching.
