Behavior Program Development

Behavior Program Development

Many students with a history of challenging behaviors have a set of lived experiences that have hindered their social, emotional, and behavioral development. They simply haven’t had the opportunities to master the necessary thinking and problem solving skills our education system requires. Many of these students have also experienced multiple forms of trauma in early childhood. The Collaborative Learning ProgramTM utilizes a social-cognitive approach which focuses primarily on the thinking underlying student behavior. Our behavioral consultants work with school districts to build or refine existing programs to better meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.

Coaching

Collaborative Learning Solutions (CLS) assists districts, school-sites and county  offices of education with developing, implementing and sustaining quality  programs that meet the behavioral, emotional and mental health needs of students. To achieve this, CLS consultants employ a coaching model that focuses  heavily on data: consistency of data collection, defined protocols for analyzing  data, and detailed action plans with clearly defined measurable  outcomes.

PBIS Data Management System

One essential element of a strong PBIS system is the use of data to make decisions (Sugai and Horner, 2004). As such, it is imperative for school systems to have an accurate data management system for discipline data.
