Daily SEL Lesson – Mindset Matters 3/26

Welcome to the CLS Daily SEL lesson. Each day, Monday through Friday, we will provide a new social-emotional learning lesson designed to build emotional intelligence and resilience. There will be a lesson for elementary students and a lesson for secondary students that include media (videos, audios, or text) and simple step-by-step instructions.

Elementary Lesson – Grow Your Brain

Instructions:

  • Sing-along with the chorus of the song in the video. (Chorus lyrics: “grow your brain, grow your brain, give it work to do; grow your brain, grow your brain, learn something new; grow your brain, grow your brain, to be a smarter you; give a challenge a go, and help your brain to grow.”)
  • Write 2-3 sentences or draw a picture that shows something you want to learn to grow your brain.
